The first step is to analyze and take tests.

When I first started studying the ACT in 2010, I was trying to figure out how to pay for college and help my three children earn scholarships.

What I learned startled me: the ACT is not an intelligence test. It’s a standardized test that tests the same concepts over and over again.

I taught myself the test, and since then I’ve taught it to over 6,000 students in small group classes all across Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio.

I did it then…

In 2010, my older son was entering high school, and I was thinking about college costs. When I learned that the University of Kentucky costs over $100,000 for a four-year degree, I was dismayed.

My husband was a teacher, and I was a homeschooling mother. We didn’t have that kind of money for college.

I quickly discovered that the biggest chunks of money for college came from the colleges themselves in the form of MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS. I learned that if you could score high enough on the ACT, you could get SOME or ALL of your tuition paid for.

I decided to teach myself the ACT.

You can do it now.

My three children ultimately scored in the 97%, 98%, and 99% of all test takers and got over $200,000 in scholarships. Two children got all of their tuition paid and one got 60% of his tuition paid. I am now teaching families all over the country how to do the same thing.

Students at The Craft Academy all participate in Mrs. Johnson's class. For high-achieving students, ACT scores are a component of the application process that can lead to acceptance into highly selective institutions. As a result, The Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics has students attending Harvard, MIT, Georgia Tech, University of Chicago, West Point and Vanderbilt.
